Job Summary

The Technical Account Manager is responsible in serving as the primary internal resource for complex accounting, tax, and reporting matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multi-entity engagements. The role leads technical review, workflow oversight, and quality control for offshore production teams, driving standards, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

• Acts as the primary escalation point for complex accounting, tax, and reporting questions across domestic and offshore teams.

• Provides technical guidance and ensures consistent application of accounting standards across engagements.

• Performs final technical review of financial statements, tax workpapers, management reports, and multi-entity consolidations.

• Ensures all deliverables meet firm standards before reaching the advisory layer.

• Mentors senior accountants and offshore teams on technical accuracy, workflow discipline, and firm standards.

• Builds and strengthens the team's technical capability over time.

• Manages workload distribution and deadlines across the production pipeline.

• Ensures timely and accurate completion of month-end close and reporting cycles.

• Identifies bottlenecks and drives process improvements across accounting workflows.

• Promotes adoption of automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.

• Establishes and maintains scalable internal review protocols and controls.

• Ensures consistency, compliance, and audit readiness across engagements.

Screening Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of U.S. based public accounting experience.

• US tax experience required.

• Experience reviewing work of senior-level accountants across multi-entity environments.

• Must have stable employment history.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in multi-entity accounting and consolidations.

• Experience in public accounting or advisory environments.

• Demonstrates strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and tax compliance workflows.

• Demonstrates ability to review and approve complex financial deliverables.

• Demonstrates ability to manage remote/offshore teams across time zones.

• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
