Job Title:Accounting Manager (Certified Public Accountant)

Location: Legazpi Village, Makati City, Philippines
General Responsibilities
Analyze and monitor the financial data maintained in ASTROLAVOS to ensure that it is accurate and up to date. Oversees and reviews the key outputs of everyone in the Accounting Department.
Specific Responsibilities
- Handles communication with various Principals pertaining to Accounting Matters.
- In-charge of coordinating with the external Auditor when it comes to accounting matters.
- Deals with the bank with regards to trading of dollar and remittances.
- Evaluate the daily Journal Entries (JE) to identify JEs that can be merged in ASTROLAVOS and returns the JEs that require revisions to the appropriate accounting personnel.
- Review the Debit/Credit Notes, Management Accounts, Statements of Accounts and other key reports prepared by accounting personnel.
- Analyze the data in ASTROLAVOS and identifies unusual balances that need to be investigated and adjusted/reconciled, if necessary.
- Monitor the daily cash position to be able to make the appropriate recommendations to the President and CWMSI Greece Accounting.
- Oversee the preparation of the proposed budgets, monitors the actual expenses against the current budget and prepares the quarterly financial reports for the clients under the Crew Management Engagements.
- Prepare email responses to finance/accounting related queries based on investigations as assisted by the General Accountants and Accounting/Allotment Assistants.
- Responsible for the quality of work in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015.
- Perform other functions as maybe assigned from time to time.
Technical Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (valid PRC license)
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager (or equivalent managerial position).
- Must be willing to report on-site daily (Monday–Friday) at Legazpi Village, Makati City, Philippines
