Accounting Manager

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Accounting Manager to join our team. This role will report directly to the
General Manager / Business Unit Manager and
Finance Director, and will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team (approximately 18 staff members)
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Ensure full compliance with BIR requirements, reportorial obligations, and other regulatory standards
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Drive improvements in accounting processes and internal controls
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
- At least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in a managerial role (currently holding a Manager position)
- Strong knowledge of taxation, BIR compliance, and reportorial requirements
- Experience in any industry is welcome
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
