The Accounting Head is responsible for overseeing the company's overall accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective internal controls. This role manages financial processes, supports strategic decision-making, and leads the accounting team.
This is a full-time and permanent role for our newest subsidiary, Asia Resources Mineral Supply Corp., specializes in Limestone Mineral Processing and Distribution in Angat, Bulacan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and government reportorial requirements
- Manage cost accounting and monitor company expenses and budgets
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of work
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting for decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, or related field
- CPA license is preferred
- At least 10 years of overall accounting and finance experience
- With 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting within manufacturing or distribution industries is a plus
- Deep knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, BIR compliance, PFRS, and PAS
- Experience handling inventory accounting, production costing, and financial analysis
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment and build scalable accounting processes
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
