Accounting Division Head

Job Summary

The Accounting Division Head manages the overall accounting records and regulatory compliance across governing bodies such as the BIR, BSP, and SEC. This leadership role oversees all accounting-related functions.

How Will You Contribute

• Financial Reporting & Oversight: Report the financial status of the company to the President, review daily and month-end Trial Balances, and oversee internal reports submitted to management, units, and the parent bank.
• Regulatory Compliance & Tax Management: Review and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual BSP and SEC financial reports. Review and approve tax computations and handle coordination during tax examinations.
• Audit & External Liaison: Direct interactions with independent external auditors, reviewing schedules, reports, and approving financial statements during annual audits.

What Will Make You Successful

• Education & Credentials: Preferably a licensed CPA with diverse accounting and solid leadership experience.
• Industry Experience: Extensive experience in banking and finance, featuring a strong background in accounting, auditing, and taxation. Knowledgeable in regulatory reporting, tax laws, and financial governance within the banking and finance sector.
• Core Competencies: Highly analytical, independent, and with integrity.
