Accounting Associate (Xero Experience)

Dayshift | Full time |Onsite Iloilo, Hybrid Makati Office |1-2 years work experience

About The Role

We have partnered with a company that is a leader in the provision of Risk and Compliance Auditing and Management services to the built property sector, whose clients are some of the largest corporations in Australia. They employ a four pillars approach to risk and compliance management - Essential Services Management, Property Risk, Height Safety, and Emergency Management.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate with hands-on experience in Xero, particularly in managing expenses and performing credit card reconciliations. In this role, you will support the Finance Team in delivering accurate financial processing, reporting, and analysis. You will play a key part in ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting operational reporting requirements.

What you'll be working on:

  • Manage and process expenses using Xero
  • Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure transactions are recorded accurately
  • Support invoicing tasks and maintain proper expense documentation within Xero
  • Review and organize expense claims for approval and processing
  • Assist with month-end accounting tasks including prepaid expenses, reconciliations, and basic reporting
  • Prepare reports and data summaries using Excel
  • Provide support for operational and ad-hoc finance reports as needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records while following company policies and procedures

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and accounting guidelines
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Raise any issues or discrepancies to the Finance Team
  • Support a safe and compliant working environment by following company standards

What we're looking for:


  • 1–2 years of experience using Xero, particularly in expense management and reconciliations
  • Experience with credit card reconciliations, expense processing, and invoicing support
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
  • Ability to manage tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance processes
