The Role
We're seeking an Accounting Associate to support our client's day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, reconciliations, and accounts payable processes.
You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling financial transactions, processing invoices across multiple accounting systems, and supporting ongoing accounting operations while growing alongside the client's business.
Environment: International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Progressive accounting experience with a steady work history; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is preferred.
- Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn Sage Intacct, Ottimate, and client-specific payables workflows.
- Characteristics: Strong business acumen, excellent work ethic, high level of integrity, confidentiality, and eagerness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records and organize financial documentation.
- Perform daily bank, deposit, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Enter weekly invoices, inter-store transactions, and accounting data into Sage Intacct and Great Plains.
- Support accounts payable processes using Ottimate after completing training.
- Assist with special projects and additional accounting responsibilities while ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures and confidentiality standards.
