Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cebu for an Accounting Associate. The Accounting Associate will perform tasks such as preparing and maintaining financial statements, processing journal entries, and analyzing financial data. The role involves working with accounting software, reconciling accounts, and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations. Attention to detail and accuracy will be key to delivering exceptional results in this position.

We're hiring an Accounting Associate for candidates experienced in payroll, billing, and Philippine government contributions. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling finance-related processes, this role may be a great fit for you.

In this role, you'll help manage both internal accounting processes and client-related billing operations to ensure transactions are handled accurately and on time.

What You'll Do

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Prepare and manage client billing and invoices
  • Monitor payments and assist with billing-related coordination
  • Manage and process government contributions including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and related deductions
  • Maintain accurate finance and accounting records
  • Coordinate with employees regarding payroll and contribution concerns
  • Support day-to-day accounting and administrative operations
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in payroll, billing, accounting, or finance-related work
  • Familiarity with Philippine government contributions and mandatory deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Willing to work on-site in Cebu

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a BPO, healthcare, or service-based company
  • Background in bookkeeping or accounting support
