Job Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to support the company's day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and at least one (1) year of relevant work experience. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while contributing to the company's financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and government regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding accounting-related concerns.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism in handling financial information.

Work Arrangement

  • Full-time position
  • Office-based
  • Reports to the office six (6) days a week
