Role Description The Accounting Assistant Manager (CPA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati. This role is responsible for supervising day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, preparation and review of financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The position oversees the timely and accurate recording of transactions, supports month-end and year-end closing activities, and coordinates with internal and external auditors as needed. The Accounting Assistant Manager also assists in improving accounting processes, supports financial planning and analysis, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide reliable financial information for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage core accounting functions and support financial analysis.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related systems, including implementation or process improvement initiatives.
- Solid Bookkeeping skills, ensuring accurate transaction recording, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential and a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
- Experience in banking or financial services, preferably in an accounting or supervisory capacity.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and people management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and guide junior staff.
