URGENT HIRING: Accounting Assistant in Makati!
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting month-end reporting, compliance, and financial record management.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End and Year-End Reporting
- Assist in preparation of monthly accruals (supplier invoices, recurring accruals, open PO consolidation)
- Prepare posting vouchers for accruals and adjustments
- Monitor prior year PO utilization and follow up on outstanding balances
- Support annual physical inventory count
- Provide support for external audits (schedules and documentation) Tax and Internal Compliance
- Assist in BIR audit requirements and document retrieval
- Reconcile BIR Form 2307 against accounting records
- Prepare quarterly reports on pass-through costs
- Support documentation for inventory destruction
- Balance Sheet Account Management
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Handle non-trade AR, other assets and liabilitiesManage CAPEX (WBS creation, asset tagging, reposting, monitoring)
- Ensure timely resolution of reconciling itemsPrepare employee accountability schedulesDocumentation and Record ManagementMaintain organized and audit-ready finance records
- Ensure proper filing and compliance with retention policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
- With 3 years experience in general accounting, taxation, finance, or similar role
- Knowledge in accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is an advantage
