Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant supports the Accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, fielding communications with clients and vendors, fact-checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- BIR taxes and compliance reports - Timely submission of accurate schedules to the supervisor for E-filing.
- Authority to Print - Timely application of ATP for the reprinting of invoices.
- Reports and Schedules - Timely submission of accurate schedules to the supervisor.
- Journal Voucher - Timely recording of adjusting entries and accruals with accuracy and in accordance with SFP. Voucher particulars are in accordance with the standardized voucher text.
- Billing statement - Accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Debit Memo/Credit Memo Accurate computation of charges. DMs are billed correctly and on time to related parties and/or suppliers.
Job Qualification
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related course.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role, or in taxation
In-depth knowledge of Taxation, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
