The Accounting & Tax Officer assists the Senior Tax Officer in daily deliverables to provide excellent service to clients. They provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports, and submitting the reports to the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle reconciliation required by the BIR;
- Assists to manage daily work with high complexity;
- Maintains relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders, BIR, and other government departments on client company's affairs, etc.;
- Query management with internal and external- 3rd party stakeholders;
- Periodic update of process documentation.
- Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant authorities.
- Update and maintain records/information in ViewPoint.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any professional accounting certificate such as CPA/ ACCA/ CIMA.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional firm.
- Able to meet deadlines and multi-task.
- Confident, team player, yet able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Stakeholder management: Internal & External: Clients, local authorities, tax agents, auditors
