Job Description

About the Role:

We are looking for an Accounting & Payroll Officer to support our Finance team in managing accurate, timely, and efficient payroll operations while assisting with day-to-day accounting and month-end activities.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and comfortable handling both payroll and accounting responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Payroll

  • Manage employee HR, payroll, leave, salary adjustment, and employment records.
  • Process monthly and off-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Handle payroll and leave-related queries from employees and managers.
  • Manage and improve leave administration processes.
  • Prepare payroll reports, including payroll variance and leave liability reports.
  • Prepare payroll payment files and month-end payroll journals.
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Handle ad hoc payroll and reporting requirements.

Accounting

  • Support daily accounting operations, including:
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • General Ledger maintenance
  • Assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare month-end journals, financial statements, and account reconciliations.

Process & Stakeholder Support

  • Support finance system improvements, automation, and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Finance team and local management to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Provide general administrative and documentation support when required.
  • Maintain complete, organized, confidential, and easily accessible finance and payroll records.
