Role Description The Accounting and Finance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandaluyong. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to support accurate reporting and decision-making. The specialist records and maintains journal entries, reconciles accounts, and ensures proper documentation of transactions in the company's accounting software. Daily tasks include monitoring cash flows, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role also partners with operations and management to provide financial insights on store performance, costs, and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to interpret financial data and support business decisions.
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and related reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of Accounting Software and related tools for recording and analyzing transactions.
- Developed Analytical Skills to reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and identify process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of local accounting standards, taxation basics, and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Ability to work on-site in Mandaluyong and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the food service or retail industry is a plus.
