Role Description

The Accounting Analyst is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting client engagements with accurate and timely financial analysis. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, posting and reconciling journal entries, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reports. The role involves analyzing trends, variances, and key performance indicators to provide insights that help clients improve operations and profitability. The Accounting Analyst will collaborate with senior finance professionals and client stakeholders to ensure reliable financial data, maintain strong internal controls, and support ongoing process improvements. This position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client priorities in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including a solid understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and basic analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), including posting, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate general ledger records.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience using accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel or similar tools).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting small businesses or working in a client-facing or consulting environment is beneficial.
  • Experience of 2 - 4 years
  • Wage/Salary - 25000 PHP
