We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting / Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day accounting, administrative, and operational support. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or entry-level professionals who are eager to build a career in accounting, finance, and administration. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, coordinating administrative activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Experience with a Social Welfare Agency, Non-Government Organization (NGO), or Foundation is an advantage. Exposure to accounting processes and tax reporting is also a plus.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting / Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day accounting, administrative, and operational support.
Responsibilities
Accounting Support
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Prepare and process payment requests, reimbursements, and petty cash liquidation.
- Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations and monitoring of cash balances.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain organized accounting files and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing and payment concerns.
- Assist in budget monitoring and expense tracking.
Tax and Compliance Support
- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax-related documents, including VAT, withholding taxes, and other government compliance requirements.
- Ensure completeness of accounting documents needed for tax reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and government agencies when necessary.
- Maintain proper documentation to support regulatory compliance.
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance including filing, document management, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Monitor office supplies and coordinate procurement requests.
- Assist in organizing meetings, training sessions, and organizational activities.
- Handle incoming communications and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is an advantage.
- Experience working with a Social Welfare Agency, Foundation, NGO, or non-profit organization is a plus.
- Exposure to accounting processes, tax reporting, or government compliance is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience using accounting software is an advantage.
