Prepare and review financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and investigate variances or discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and transactions.
Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements.
Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members.
Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant work related experience required. Two years of Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis/related work experience or equivalent combination of related training and experience required. Three years preferred. Knowledge and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act. - required Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - required Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. Microsoft Access and SAP experience a plus. Proficient financial analytical skills and ability to research variances. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
