Job Summary:
Prepares financial statements, ledgers, and taxes for general accounting principles and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Computes and prepares data for journal entries, reviews general ledger and related financial statements for reasonableness.
- Accumulates and analyzes information for the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, reports and taxes.
- Assists in preparing financial reports for both inside and outside the company.
- Prepares timely reports and communication with functional areas.
- Trains other employees both within and outside the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 13 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) is preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.
- Experience supporting U.S. based companies and exposure to US GAAP.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
