The Lind Hotels is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our corporate finance team based in our Manila Head Office.

About the Role

This role is responsible for preparing financial statements, managing Head Office general ledger activities, and overseeing regulatory compliance including TIEZA reporting—in accordance with established accounting standards. We are seeking accounting professionals with strong analytical skills, audit experience, and a deep understanding of corporate financial workflows to support both head office and resort operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes, and processes daily and monthly financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or relevant accounting standards.
• Leads regulatory compliance monitoring and timely submission of Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) reporting pursuant to terms and conditions.
• Oversees the general ledger, journal entries, and comprehensive account reconciliations for the Head Office and resort properties.
• Monitors, tracks, and analyzes Head Office and operational expenses to identify variances and maintain fiscal control.
• Coordinates directly with internal and external auditors to provide required documentation and support annual audit processes.
• Facilitates seamless month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial cut-offs and reporting schedules.
• Maintains accurate, organized, and fully up-to-date physical and digital financial records and ledger accounts.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with resort finance teams and corporate leadership to support financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Conducts routine account audits and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure complete accuracy and eliminate financial discrepancies.
• Supports executive finance management with ad-hoc financial analysis, special project accounting, and internal control implementation.

Qualifications

• Core Background: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience as an Accountant, Junior Accountant, or Accounting Supervisor within a corporate setup or hospitality environment.
• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (CPA license or board eligibility is a strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles, financial analysis, expense control, and TIEZA/government regulatory reporting.
• High proficiency in accounting ERP software (e.g., SAP, SunSystem, or equivalent) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong leadership potential, and the ability to meet tight closing deadlines under pressure.
• Available to start immediately is an advantage.
