Job Description

Falinwa Philippines is a branch of Falinwa Group, an established financial consulting and Odoo integrator since 2009, with presences in France, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, Philippines and Madagascar. As a part of our mission, we strive to ensure successful integration of clients businesses into Odoo environments by acting as a link between clients and our technical team.

We are looking for: Medium Accountant

Location: Clark, Pampanga, Philippines

Type: Full-time, On-site

Reporting to: Director / Manager

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Philippine and company policies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection and variance analysis.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
  • Monitor cash flow, assist with working capital management, and identify basic financial risks.
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax, income tax) and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
  • Manage end-to-end HR payroll processing, including computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, and government-mandated contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Handle individual tax withholding (BIR Form 2316), prepare and file monthly and annual withholding tax returns, and ensure compliance with BIR regulations.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, track leaves, absences, and 13th-month pay calculations.
  • Provide financial data and support to business units for cost control and planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in financial controlling, accounting, or audit roles.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Philippine Payroll
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, good communication and teamwork skills.
