Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting processes and procedures to ensure effective control of financial operations.
  • Manage and assist in the maintenance of Computerized Books of Accounts (CBA) using Xero Cloud-Based Accounting System.
  • Ensure monthly and year-end closing of books aligns with corporate requirements.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory requirements, including BIR, SEC, LGU, and others.
  • Provide support and guidance during internal and external audits.
  • Perform additional tasks or assignments as requested by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • With experience in general ledger accounting
  • Proficient in computer systems and applications, including intermediate to advanced skills in spreadsheet software.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (preferably Xero).
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
