Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT
Salary Range: Php 56,000 - Php 74,000

We are seeking a research-minded, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a newly established International and Indirect Tax Division. Working closely under the direct mentorship of two Australian Tax Partners, you will deliver high-level tax research, advisory support, and indirect tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of multinational corporations, private wealth groups, tech entities, and property developers.
Your Impact
- Technical Tax Research & Advisory: Conduct high-level tax research across cross-border, Commonwealth, and Australian State taxes-specializing in indirect tax areas such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Stamp Duty, Customs & Excise, Luxury Car Tax (LCT), and Fuel Tax Credits.
- Legislation Analysis & Practical Advice: Analyze and interpret Australian tax legislation, ruling updates, and legal precedents to draft clear, practical written advice that supports strategic client decision-making.
- Revenue Authority Liaison: Assist Partners in liaising, corresponding, and negotiating with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and State Revenue Authorities regarding rulings, reviews, and client inquiries.
- Compliance & Reporting: Prepare specialized taxation returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS), and related compliance lodgments while building direct advisory engagement with Partners and international client networks.
What You Bring
- Education & Professional Background: Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Law; open to candidates with either a tax accounting background or a legal/tax research background.
- The Experience:1 to 3 years of experience in taxation, with an eagerness to develop deep technical expertise in indirect taxes, payroll tax, property taxes, and customs duties.
- Research & Analytical Skills: Exceptional technical writing capabilities, strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to translate complex legislative provisions into commercial insights.
- Core Competencies: Proactive approach to continuous professional development, strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and superior written and verbal English communication.
