Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Alaminos. This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date. The Accountant will handle daily bookkeeping tasks, reconcile accounts, process payroll entries, and assist with tax and regulatory compliance. The role also includes preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, supporting audits, and collaborating with team members to improve financial processes. The Accountant will work closely with supervisors and clients to meet deadlines and adhere to company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and payroll processing.
  • Experience with tax compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to use accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in an outsourcing, shared services, or corporate finance environment is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and willingness to work on-site in Alaminos.
