Accountant
Salary Range: $866 to $1,560 per month
Join a growing healthcare accounting operation looking to build a stronger, more accountable finance team! This full-cycle accounting role will take ownership of key finance responsibilities from AP input through initial financial review, helping support clean month-end closes across multiple facilities.
What You'll Do:
- Post cash transactions into the general ledger accurately for assigned accounts.
- Review AP emails, code invoices, and enter them into the AP platform.
- Upload payroll entries, prepaid expenses, accruals, journal entries, and other accounting activity.
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks that contribute to a clean month-end close.
- Prepare AP reports and receivables reports for review.
- Follow up on collections as needed for non-medical billing.
- Reconcile bank accounts during month-end close.
- Review financials and submit them to the supervisor for final review.
- Manage accounting responsibilities for approximately 4–6 facilities.
- Use the workflow management system to track and complete assigned daily tasks.

Who We're Looking For:
- Full-Cycle Accounting Experience: Experience in full-cycle accounting is required.
- Financial Reporting Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and financial analysis.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand the full accounting picture and recognize how day-to-day accounting decisions affect financial reporting and month-end close.
- Accountability: Takes ownership of work and follows through with accuracy and consistency.
- Sage Experience: Sage Intacct experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience on other platforms may also be considered if they demonstrate exceptional technical ability, strong accounting judgment, and the capacity to learn quickly.
- Healthcare Accounting Experience: Experience in nursing home or skilled nursing facility accounting is a plus, but not necessary.
- Professional Communication: Personable, clear communicator who can make informed decisions and collaborate effectively.
- Organization: Capable of managing recurring daily, weekly, and monthly workflows across multiple facilities.
- Writing Skills: Able to write clear, grammatically correct emails; use of AI tools is acceptable.
- Location: Must be located in the Philippines.
