As an Accountant, you'll become part of a newly established Pioneer team dedicated to the firm, bringing your Australian public practice foundations into increasingly sophisticated accounting and taxation work. You'll collaborate with Australian specialists, strengthen your technical judgment, and build broader professional credentials through Emapta's Top 1% Talent experience.
Job Overview

- PHP 20,000 non-taxable allowance

Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Australian Public Practice Accounting experience
- Exposure to SME and mid-market clients with AUD 5M-100M+ turnover
- Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare Australian income tax returns and technical tax advisory reports
- Conduct tax research and provide advice on Australian taxation, GST, and complex tax matters
- Support business structuring initiatives, cross-border transactions, and indirect tax advisory projects
- Assist with asset acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements, and IPO-related tax matters
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding reviews, audits, and dispute resolution matters
- Apply legislative updates and taxation changes to client engagements and advisory work
- Contribute to technical knowledge-sharing initiatives and tax advisory updates
- Review, organize, and maintain client records, financial information, and supporting documentation
- Collaborate with Australian-based tax professionals on complex client engagements
