Job Description

  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records of all transactions (e.g., income, expenses, assets, liabilities).
  • Organize and update financial documents, ledgers, and journals.
  • Use accounting software, NAVISION to record and manage data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement).
  • Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and legal regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances for management decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and monitor spending against those budgets.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to predict future financial performance based on trends and data.
  • Identify areas of cost reduction or profit improvement.
  • Prepare schedule (corporate, VAT, payroll, etc.) in accordance with national or regional laws.
  • Ensure tax compliance and stay updated with changes in tax legislation.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and auditors when required.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the companys financial assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Support or conduct internal audits and assist in external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and match bank statements with internal records.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closings.
  • Analyze financial performance indicators such as profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for cost control, revenue enhancement, or investment decisions.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Provide financial information and support to management and other departments.
  • Participate in financial planning and strategy meetings.
  • Support inventory management through cost accounting and valuation.
  • Assist with project accounting and track budgets for special projects.
  • Train and supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable).
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes
