Accountant

The accountant is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role also oversees financial transactions related to gaming operations, including revenue monitoring, payment processing, digital transaction reconciliation, and the implementation of effective financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger functions.
• Record, monitor, and reconcile daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external accounting partners to ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance with BIR regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable BIR issuances, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor gaming revenue, player transactions, subscriptions, in-game purchases, and other digital payment activities.
• Process and validate customer deposits and withdrawals accurately and within established timelines.
• Monitor payment gateways and investigate transaction issues, delays, or failures, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Work closely with the Customer Service team to resolve finance-related transaction concerns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and other departments by providing financial data and reports as needed.
• Investigate unusual or high-risk transactions and escalate them for further review.
• Ensure proper transaction tagging, documentation, and maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required reports and documentation.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
• Assist in payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and other finance-related administrative tasks as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate superior and management from time to time.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
• At least 2–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in the gaming, technology, fintech, or digital entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
• Experience with digital payment platforms and online transaction reconciliation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with financial compliance requirements within the gaming industry is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday
