Role Overview
The Accountant is a resourceful problem solver who will take ownership of critical accounting tasks. This team member will be a key player in ensuring the client's accounting and reporting function will scale and support the client's rapid growth. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key to the success of the Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Perform day to day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger and other duties as assigned
- Assist with monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Maintain regular contact and build solid working relationships with various client groups to ensure a high level of customer service and work product
- Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed
Requirements
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Experience with standard software solutions preferred, for example: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Netsuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Fast learner with high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Enjoy a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct exposure to accounting operation duties like AP, AR, and cash reconciliations
- Experience working in a fast-paced technology, or professional services environment

Working Arrangement: WFH with minimal meet ups in Pampanga. Frequency is 1x-2x a month.
Work Schedule: 6:00am-11:00am PH time. Plus 3 flexible working hours
