POSITION SUMMARY
The A2R Senior Team Lead will lead a team supporting finance transformation and separation initiatives by managing balance sheet clean-up activities, transactional execution, data migration support, cutover planning, testing, and hypercare stabilization. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams including BUF, Tax, CFM, FinTech, and Operations to ensure accurate financial data transition, reconciliation, and operational readiness throughout the separation process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Data Clean-Up & Reconciliation
- Perform data clean-up activities including accelerated reconciliation solutioning, aged reconciliation write-offs, and balance sheet clear-down activities.
- Support identification, analysis, and resolution of outstanding financial balances and reconciliation issues.
- Ensure timely execution and documentation of reconciliation adjustments and write-offs.
2. Balance Sheet Transfer Support
- Coordinate balance sheet transfer analysis and approval processes with BUF, Tax, and CFM stakeholders.
- Prepare, document, and facilitate approvals for write-off and transfer memorandums.
- Execute intercompany (IC) invoice billing transactions.
- Process fixed asset transfers including capitalization and disposals.
- Perform OBS journal entries and related accounting adjustments.
3. Data Migration & Master Data Support
- Provide inputs and recommendations regarding historical financial data migration requirements, including AR, AP, GRIR, PO, and other transactional data.
- Assess, coordinate, and initiate master data setup activities across Legacy and NewCo systems, including:
- Customer Master Data (CMD)
- Vendor Master Data (VMD)
- Project Codes
- GL Extensions
- Collaborate with FinTech and LES ATR teams to support cleansing, clear-down, and cutover-related activities.
4. Testing & Validation
- Conduct penny testing for intercompany billing transactions supporting OBS and asset transfer/demerger activities.
- Validate that tax requirements and transaction configurations are accurately captured within the OldCo system.
- Support issue identification, troubleshooting, and remediation during testing cycles.
5. Cutover Planning & Execution
- Support invoice cutover planning and execution activities.
- Coordinate settlement setup considerations for both intercompany and third-party transactions.
- Ensure readiness and accuracy of financial transactions during transition periods.
6. Hypercare & Post-Go-Live Support
- Provide dedicated hypercare support for transactional execution activities post-cutover.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues including:
- OBS corrections
- Interface reversals
- Manual journal postings
- Misdirected cash investigations
- Coordinate with FinTech teams on interface-related concerns and resolutions.
7. Training & Stakeholder Coordination
- Train ATR Operations teams on execution of separation-related transactions and processes.
- Communicate market-specific separation approaches, process impacts, and cutover requirements to operational teams and stakeholders.
- Facilitate coordination across finance, operations, tax, and system support teams.
8. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other finance transformation, migration, and operational support tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are a plus
- At least 8-10 years of professional experience
- At least 4 years of Management / Supervisory experience
- Experience in Account to Report or General Accounting process
- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferrable
- Experience with SAP.
- Fluent English, other language skills desirable, confidence in presenting to Senior Management in English
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage a team, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Ability to drive process and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned

- Work Schedule: TBD - Global Support - shift will depend on region supported (EMEA, US, ASPAC). Shift will initially be mid-shift.
