Job Description

This role will lead the Global Finance Delivery reconciliation workstream and own enterprise bank and balance sheet reconciliation outcomes by defining reconciliation strategy, standards and governance. Driving resolution of complex/systemic variances, ensuring audit and regulatory compliance, strengthening control and leading automation/continuous improvement to improve reporting quality and risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own reconciliation strategy and future-state operating model (standardization, automation, system enablement)
  • Establish governance frameworks, documentation standards, materiality thresholds and quality standards
  • Ensure sustained accuracy, completeness and integrity of reconciliations across reporting periods.
  • Drive resolution of complex/systemic reconciling items through root cause analysis and enterprise-wide corrective actions.
  • Provide expert advisory to senior finance stakeholders on risks/exposures and remediation priorities.
  • Serve as primary reconciliation authority for close, internal/external auditors and regulators; lead cross-functional initiatives to implement scalable solutions and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Deep expertise in balance sheet reconciliations, financial close, controls, and balance sheet risk management; ability to design reconciliation methodologies, governance and documentation standards aligned to enterprise policies, SOX and regulatory expectations.
  • Advanced analytical capability (advanced Excel/analytics) to interpret complex data and translate operating risk into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP environments (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and reconciliation tooling, including data architecture and automation enablement.
  • Professional accounting designation required (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead large teams
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA
  • 10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience with deep reconciliation, close, and controls experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead highly complex assignments with enterprise-level impact across multiple entities/systems/geographies
  • Shared service/offshore CoE leadership experience preferred.
