Job Summary
The Account Officer is responsible for providing end-to-end account servicing, underwriting support, and relationship management for global network partners, brokers, and clients. This role ensures timely policy servicing, accurate documentation, effective coordination with internal departments, and compliance with service level agreements while contributing to business growth and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and renewal terms to Network Partners, brokers, and clients.
- Evaluate and underwrite insurance risks within delegated authority and recommend appropriate rates, terms, and conditions.
- Review, negotiate, and communicate policy terms and conditions with Network Partners and business partners.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain insurance policies, endorsements, cover notes, certificates, and other related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Underwriting, Claims, and Finance teams regarding policy issuance, premium collections, claims, and other servicing requirements.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from Network Partners, brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Network Partners and ensure excellent service delivery throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Monitor policy renewals, send renewal reminders, and proactively follow up on expiring accounts to support business retention.
- Ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company service standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and update global information platforms and partner web-based systems, including Zurich ZIPU, RSA IP, HDI-NP, AXA XL GISMO, Swiss Re-NP, CNA ComPass, and other applicable systems.
- Prepare reports and maintain organized documentation to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and other duties assigned by management.
What You Need to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, or any related business course.
- Candidates with at least two (2) years of experience in Account Management, Insurance Operations, Customer Service, Underwriting Support, or Client Servicing are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience in the non-life insurance industry is an advantage but not required.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience using insurance platforms or policy administration systems is an advantage.
- Adaptable, collaborative, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
