Job Description

Role Overview

This is a dedicated sales role responsible for developing and growing the Michelin BTR (Beyond Road) and Mining tire portfolio across government, construction, and mining customer segments. The Account Manager will work closely with the Michelin principal team and Icon Equipment's existing fleet customer base to drive revenue, deepen market penetration, and establish Michelin as the preferred premium tire brand across key institutional and industrial accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Achieve monthly and annual Michelin tire sales targets across CLT, TLD, AGB, and Mining categories.

2. Develop and manage a pipeline of government (DPWH, AFP, LGU), construction, and mining accounts for Michelin tires.

3. Support preparation and submission of PhilGEPS and RA 9184 bids for Michelin tire supply contracts.

4. Conduct technical product presentations and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) comparisons with competing brands.

5. Coordinate with Michelin principal on product training, pricing, and customer support.

6. Attend and complete all Michelin training programs (30-day and 60-day technical training; mining in-field training in August 2026).

7. Maintain up-to-date CRM records for all Michelin accounts, opportunities, and call reports.

8. Monitor competitor activity (Triangle, Linglong, Bridgestone) and report market intelligence monthly.

9. Coordinate tire delivery logistics with Supply Chain (John Lester Fabello).

10. Achieve monthly call frequency targets: minimum 20 customer visits per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience; experience in tires, heavy equipment, or industrial products is a strong advantage.

• Exposure to government procurement (RA 9184) is a plus.

• Strong technical aptitude — ability to learn tire specifications, TRA codes, and application matching.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Willing to travel (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao as needed).

• Valid driver's license required
