Position Overview
Colorboost, Inc., is a fast-growing US company at the forefront of optical lens technology, and we are expanding our business in Europe.We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Account Manager to join our European sales support team. This role is designed for a professional with 5 years of experience in account management, who is ready to take on higher-level responsibilities. You will be instrumental in executing our EU growth strategy and ensuring our European customers receive excellent support.
As a mid-level manager, you will bridge the gap between tactical execution and strategic planning, serving as a key contributor to our EU sales objectives.
This role requires a unique blend of relationship management and technical understanding, ensuring our partners are equipped with the latest innovations in lens design, coatings, and visual performance.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Support: Assist VP of EU Sales in managing high-priority accounts and implementing regional sales initiatives.
Customer Retention & Success: Manage a dedicated portfolio of European accounts, ensuring high satisfaction levels and long-term contract renewals.
Onboarding & Implementation: Lead the transition of new clients from the Sales team to active account status, ensuring a seamless integration process.
Proficient Record Keeping & MS Excel Work: Must have high proficiency in recording and organizing digital business documentation, all transactions, including purchase orders and shipment details.Must have high proficiency with MS Excel, e.g., calculations, pivot tables, graphs, charts.
Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate with our operations team to ensure timely delivery of orders for your accounts.
Point of Contact: Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, translating their feedback into actions for our product and marketing teams.
Growth Identification: Proactively identify opportunities for account expansion, including opportunities for upselling additional services and cross-selling new solutions.
Performance Reporting: Maintain accurate customer sales data and provide regular updates to the VP of EU Sales on account health, risks, and revenue forecasts.
Professional Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B Sales, preferably with technology or technical product companies.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly master technical product concepts, specifications and marketing.
Education: a 4-year university degree or higher.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to present confidently to mid-to-senior level management.Proficiency in a second European language (e.g., German, Italian or French) is preferred.
Cultural Competence: A good understanding of European business etiquette and experience working with diverse international clients.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and minimal supervision.
