Job Description

The Auto Fleet Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the fleet client portfolio by developing strong relationships, providing tailored financing solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

This role focuses on acquiring new fleet accounts, maintaining existing partnerships, and driving business growth through strategic engagement and operational excellence. The role also involves collaboration with banking units such as Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate Banking to solicit new-to-bank accounts and maximize cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Client Acquisition

  • Identify and target potential fleet clients for financing solutions.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements in alignment with company policies and objectives.

Portfolio & Program Management

  • Develop strategies to retain and grow existing fleet accounts.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively address client needs.
  • Develop programs in collaboration with the product and marketing teams to increase the base of fleet clients and loan take up

Solution Delivery

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Credit, Operations, Risk) to ensure timely processing of applications and disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration with Banking Units

  • Work closely with Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, and Corporate Banking teams to solicit new-to-bank accounts and explore cross-selling opportunities.
  • Participate in joint client calls and strategic initiatives to enhance portfolio growth.

Relationship Building

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with fleet clients to drive long-term engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and support.

Market Intelligence

  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation.

Reporting

  • Provide regular updates on account performance, pipeline status, and revenue contribution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, corporate sales, Commercial / Retail Banking experience or Fleet Management Sales is an advantage
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Background in automotive or credit line account handling is an advantage.
