The Role:
We're looking for a hunter. Someone who thrives on opening doors, building pipeline, and closing new wholesale coffee accounts. You find new partners, close the deal, and move on to the next one.
Our wholesale channel already represents a significant share of total revenue with a lean team. We're adding this role to expand our wholesale reach into new segments and channels.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prospecting and acquiring new wholesale accounts across hotels, restaurants, corporate offices, co-working spaces, commissaries, provincial cafes, and other commercial channels
- Conducting cold outreach (calls, emails, site visits) and running coffee presentations and tastings for prospects
- Managing your own pipeline from lead generation through to closed deal
- Preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing contracts
- Handing off onboarded accounts to our account management team
- Tracking all activity in our CRM system
- Reporting pipeline progress weekly to the Wholesale Manager
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years in B2B sales with a track record of acquiring new accounts (not just managing existing ones)
- Experience in F&B, FMCG, hospitality, or food service is a strong plus
- Confident doing face-to-face selling, cold visits, and client presentations
- Self-driven and able to manage your own schedule and pipeline
- Organized, persistent, and motivated by results
Nice to Have:
- Existing network in hotels, restaurants, or food service procurement
- Coffee knowledge or genuine interest in specialty coffee
- Experience using CRM tools
