Job Description

·       Role: Account Director – Finance & Accounting Operations

·       Location: Philippines

·       Education: Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

·       Experience: 12–15 years in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing, with at least 5 years in a senior client-facing or account leadership role managing 200+ headcount

Responsibilities:

·       Own senior client relationships across US and Australian accounts, serving as the primary executive point of contact for C-suite and VP-level stakeholders

·       Drive end-to-end delivery accountability across FAO functions including AR, AP, GL, reporting, and audit, ensuring SLA adherence, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction

·       Provide operational oversight across audit intake, billing, authorizations, CRM, payment posting, collections, and customer support

·       Consume and interpret AR-related reports, aging, denials, and collection trends to identify risks and priorities

·       Ensure clear ownership, handoffs, due dates, and next steps across teams

·       Monitor work queues, trackers, dashboards, and financial/operational reports to identify risks and bottlenecks

·       Drive timely resolution of audit issues, claim rejections, denials, authorization gaps, AR risks, and customer escalations

·       Partner cross-functionally with Audit, Billing, Coding, Collections, Finance, CRM, and Customer Support teams

·       Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking and documentation in HubSpot

·       Review operational and AR reports to ensure real-time visibility and data accuracy

·       Translate financial and operational data into clear updates and action plans for stakeholders

·       Lead transition management for new client onboarding and scope expansions, including knowledge transfer, process mapping, technology integration, and go-live planning, ensuring smooth ramp-up with minimal delivery risk

·       Identify recurring operational or AR issues and partner with teams to improve workflows and processes

·       Ensure adherence to HIPAA and PHI handling standards within daily operations

·       Own risk identification, escalation, and resolution for all client delivery issues; proactively surface risks to client stakeholders and internal leadership with clear remediation plans

·       Ensure adherence to SLAs, productivity targets, and quality standards.

·       Support presales pursuits by contributing to RFP responses, solution design, pricing validation, and client presentations — bringing operational credibility and delivery insight to the sales process

·       Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing accounts through scope expansion, additional services, and relationship deepening

·       Partner with senior leadership to define the FAO vertical's growth strategy, target client profile, and go-to-market approach for US and Australian markets

·       Build, develop, and retain a 200+ headcount delivery team — establishing career pathways, succession plans, and a high-performance culture

·       Define and own vertical-level KPIs, operational metrics, and financial targets; report performance to senior leadership and client stakeholders on a regular cadence

 

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

·       12–15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO), with a track record of managing large offshore delivery teams and complex multi-client portfolios

·       Background in finance, accounting, or accounts receivable strongly preferred

·       Strong working knowledge of AR concepts including aging, write-offs, adjustments, underpayments, and collections

·       Demonstrated experience delivering FAO services to US and/or Australian clients, with working knowledge of relevant regulatory, tax, and reporting frameworks (GAAP/IFRS, IRS, ATO)

·       Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and financial/operational reporting

·       Demonstrated ability to manage executive and C-suite client stakeholders, navigate complex governance structures, and build long-term trusted-advisor relationships

·       Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to interpret financial and operational data and translate it into actions

·       Proactive problem-solver with a high sense of ownership

·       Proven presales experience — including participation in RFP responses, solution solutioning, commercial modelling, and client pitch delivery

·       Strong transition management capability — experience designing and executing onboarding playbooks for large, complex engagements (500+ FTE transitions preferred)

·       Demonstrated success in building and scaling large offshore teams (200+ headcount), including workforce planning, org design, and talent development

·       Executive presence and confident communicator able to represent the organisation at C-suite level and in competitive pursuits

·       P&L literacy — ability to understand and manage account-level financials, margin drivers, and commercial levers

Education and Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred

·       Extensive FAO leadership experience at Director level may be considered in lieu of postgraduate qualifications; a bachelor's degree or equivalent remains a minimum requirement
