As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for estimating, planning, and delivering Windows and/or Linux serves in support of project initiatives.
Manage network servers and technology tools (server, network, voice and cloud systems). Monitor performance and maintain systems in accordance to business requirements. Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion scheduled jobs such as backups.
Monitor and maintain the ticketing queue responding within service level requirements.
Excellent in communicating through emails, calls or in person to provide the IT service.
Perform routine proactive network and server maintenance activities including firmware upgrades, patching etc.
Identify complex technical environment issues and implement permanent resolutions to mitigate problems.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, videocon devices, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications, including new end user software & hardware deployments.
Support daily operations and monitoring of multiple databases, user accounts, file permissions and other systems according to standard operating procedures.
Troubleshooting and resolving of enterprise apps (software) & end user devices (hardware) issues, ensuring it is documented and logged
Manage user access & permissions to enterprise applications & network folders, to the network, & to the other systems used in the organization.
Participate in required compliance activities as needed, including data log collection, statistical analysis and proper reporting standards.
Provides support for both the IP phones, and equipment running over communication networks such as VOIP or IP Telephony.
Work with IT asset custodian in helping to maintain accurate asset records and physical count.
Provide extended IT support for Audio/Video requirement & IT services for VIP/executives.
Essential Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT Help Desk or IT Support from a BPO, Call Center, or Shared Services environment.
2 years and up proven experience as System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role.
Knowledge of multiple operating systems including Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems.
Experience in Managing, Administering server applications, such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop Protocol, SQL Server, IIS, VMware, Databases, VMWare ESXI server management and setup: VCenter, VMotion, Server Virtualization, Snapshots, and Backup.
Excellent Knowledge and understanding of Networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VPN, Routing. WAN, firewall, VPN and remote access applications
Other Capabilities:
Excellent understanding of customer service and strong sense of customer focus
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Good experience on video conferencing, IOS and Android devices is an advantage
Excellent communication skills. Both written and verbal.
Self-starter who is able to work independently and flexible to work outside office hours if required including night shift and weekend.
Applies commercial and technical expertise by staying up to date in industry standard
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
Certifications:
Professional certification (e.g Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate, MCP, ITIL v3, or ServiceNow is a plus.
