About: The AC Sales Head is responsible for leading and driving the overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion of the Air Conditioning (HVAC) business. This role oversees channel sales operations, key account management, channel development, and team leadership to ensure achievement of sales targets and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for AC products (residential, commercial, and industrial).
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and budgets aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
2. Revenue & Business Growth
- Drive revenue growth and profitability for the AC business.
- Expand market share through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Identify and develop new business channels (e.g., dealers, distributors, corporate accounts, projects).
3. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the AC sales team to achieve performance targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training.
- Foster a high-performance and results-driven sales culture.
4. Key Account & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and business partners.
- Handle strategic negotiations and closing of high-value deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, supply chain, finance) to ensure smooth execution.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Monitor sales performance through reports, dashboards, and pipeline tracking.
- Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance and market insights.
6. Product & Market Development
- Collaborate with product teams on pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotions.
- Support the launch of new AC products and solutions.
- Ensure competitiveness of product offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA is an advantage
- Minimum 8–10 years of sales experience in HVAC / AC / appliances industry
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing sales teams
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
