Job Description

Help Ensure Every Child Receives the Quality Care They Deserve.

Behind every successful ABA program is something most people never see.

Accurate documentation.

Because when clinical records are complete, compliant, and easy to follow, BCBAs can make better decisions, teams can deliver better care, and children receive the support they need to thrive.

.

We're looking for an ABA Documentation & Quality Assurance Specialist who understands that quality documentation isn't just paperwork—it's an essential part of delivering exceptional ABA services.

In this role, you'll work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and administrative teams to ensure clinical documentation is accurate, compliant, audit-ready, and reflective of the high standards our clients deserve.

This is not a software QA or software testing position.

This is a specialized ABA-focused role for someone who understands ABA terminology, clinical documentation, compliance requirements, and the importance of maintaining accurate records that support both quality care and organizational excellence.

If you're detail-oriented, passionate about ABA, and enjoy helping clinical teams succeed through strong documentation practices, we'd love to meet you.

Why This Role Is Different

Most documentation roles focus solely on finding mistakes.

This role focuses on improving quality.

You'll partner with clinicians, identify opportunities for improvement, help maintain compliance standards, and contribute directly to better outcomes for children and families.

Your work will help ensure our clinical teams have the accurate information they need to provide exceptional care.

What You'll Do

Review and Strengthen Clinical Documentation

You'll review and evaluate ABA clinical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing ABA therapy session notes, supervision notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Identifying missing information, documentation concerns, and inconsistencies.
  • Following up with the appropriate team members to resolve documentation issues.
  • Ensuring documentation meets company policies, payer requirements, and compliance standards.

Support Clinical Excellence

You'll serve as a valuable resource to our clinical team by helping maintain high documentation standards across the organization.

You'll:

  • Support BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff by providing professional and constructive documentation feedback.
  • Monitor documentation quality and help maintain best practices across the organization.
  • Promote consistency and accuracy across clinical records.
  • Help create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Improve Systems and Processes

You'll help strengthen operational excellence through quality assurance initiatives.

You'll:

  • Analyze documentation trends and quality metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve documentation workflows and processes.
  • Assist in maintaining organized, accurate, and audit-ready records.
  • Support ongoing compliance efforts and quality improvement initiatives.

Protect Client Information

You'll handle sensitive information with professionalism and care.

You'll:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality standards.
  • Handle confidential client information with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.

  • Ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and compliance concerns in clinical records.
  • Ability to provide clear, professional, and supportive feedback to team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in documentation review, compliance, quality improvement, or clinical record auditing.

Why This Role Matters

Every treatment recommendation, every therapy session, and every clinical decision depends on accurate documentation.

When documentation is strong, care improves.

When care improves, children and families benefit.

Your work will help ensure the quality, compliance, and integrity of the records that support life-changing ABA services every day.

If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, experienced in ABA, and passionate about maintaining excellence in clinical documentation and compliance, we'd love to hear from you.
