STUDIOCULT is one of the most innovative jewelry brands in America, and it has a devoted following around the world. We make the pieces people didn't know they needed until they saw them: rings that look like cursors, earrings made from soda tabs and carabiners, and a bag shaped like a binder clip. Every piece starts with a spark of wit and ends with serious craftsmanship.

This is a rare opportunity to be the hands behind that craftsmanship. You'll work directly with our Creative Director to bring new designs to life. Over time, you'll help shape what STUDIOCULT makes next.

The Role

Our Creative Director has been doing much of the CAD work personally. We're looking for an exceptionally talented 3D designer to take that work over, so they can focus on the bigger vision for the brand. You'll be their right hand in the design process.

This isn't a model what's on the ticket job. Precision matters enormously, but so does your eye. We want someone who will spot what could make a design better and speak up. As you grow with us, you'll have the chance to pitch and develop your own design ideas.

What You'll Do
  • Turn sketches, references, and concepts from the Creative Director into precise, production-ready 3D models
  • Create photorealistic renders in Cinema 4D (or similar) for design review, product development, and marketing
  • Model with manufacturing in mind, including wall thickness, stone settings, tolerances, and casting and printing requirements
  • Collaborate closely and iterate quickly through feedback rounds with the Creative Director
  • Contribute design ideas and suggest new pieces, variations, and improvements
  • Keep files organized and maintain consistency across collections
What You Bring
  • Expert proficiency in Rhino 3D (required)
  • Strong ZBrush skills for organic, sculptural, and playful forms (required)
  • Rendering experience in Cinema 4D or comparable software such as KeyShot, Blender, or 3ds Max (required). You should be able to make metal, enamel, and stones look irresistible.
  • A portfolio that shows exceptional precision and attention to detail
  • Experience modeling jewelry for production
  • A good design eye and a sense of humor about objects
  • Clear communication in English and reliability with deadlines
  • Several hours of daily overlap with US business hours (Eastern Time)

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with render engines like Redshift, Octane, or V-Ray
  • Experience with MatrixGold or other jewelry-specific plugins
  • Knowledge of enamel, resin, or colored finishes
  • Familiarity with 3D printing for casting
  • Genuine enthusiasm for fashion, design, and internet culture
The Details
  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Remote, open to candidates worldwide
  • Compensation: 15 - 35 / hour, based on experience
  • Reports to: Creative Director
Why STUDIOCULT
  • Work one-on-one with the Creative Director of a globally loved brand
  • See your work produced, worn, and shared by fans around the world
  • Real creative input: your ideas can become actual products
  • A long-term, full-time role with room to grow
