We are looking for a skilled 3D Designer with strong experience in retail POSM and/or exhibition booth design. This is a project-based engagement with the potential for ongoing collaboration as our project pipeline grows.
You will work closely with our creative, account, and production teams to translate brand briefs into compelling, production-ready 3D designs that perform on-shelf, on-floor, and at activation. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable designing soft POSMs, retail stands, and activation booths, with a sharp eye for brand detail and a practical understanding of fabrication.
Scope of Work
You may be engaged on individual deliverables or full activation packages, including but not limited to:
Point of Sale Materials (POSM)
- Free-Standing Display Units (FSDUs)
- Retail Display Module (RDM) Banners
- Gondola end-caps and full gondola dressings
- Counter displays and check-out units
- Shelf strips, wobblers, shelf talkers, and shelf vinyls
- Power wings and side stacks
- Floor stickers, danglers, buntings, and ceiling mobiles
- Pallet displays and bin dressings
- Hypermarket and pharmacy-specific display formats
- Promotional and seasonal kits
Booths, Activations, and Exhibition Stands
- Mall and supermarket activation booths
- Custom and modular exhibition stands
- Pop-up retail and brand experience zones
- Sampling booths, kiosks, and roadshow units
- Event stages, photo zones, and immersive installations
- Indoor and outdoor activation setups
Supporting Deliverables
- Photorealistic 3D renders for client presentations
- Lifestyle and in-context visualizations (in-store, in-mall, at-event)
- Technical drawings with dimensions and tolerances
- Material and finish specifications
- Production-ready files for fabricators and printers
- Mock-ups for client approval and pre-press review
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret creative briefs, brand guidelines, and KVs into 3D concepts that are buildable, on-budget, and on-brand.
- Produce concept-stage 3D visuals quickly for internal review and client pitching.
- Develop final renders to a photorealistic standard, with correct lighting, materials, and brand application.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and fabrication files, including dimensions, materials, structural notes, electrical requirements where relevant, and assembly references.
- Coordinate with fabricators, printers, and production partners to ensure designs are executed accurately.
- Manage revisions efficiently across multiple rounds of client feedback.
- Deliver work within agreed timelines and flag any production or feasibility concerns early.
Required Skills & Experience
Software Proficiency
- 3D Modelling: 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Blender, or Rhino (proficiency in at least two)
- Rendering: V-Ray, Corona, KeyShot, or Redshift
- 2D and Finishing: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Technical Drawings: AutoCAD or equivalent
- Bonus: Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, or AR/VR pipelines
Production Knowledge
- Solid understanding of POSM and booth fabrication materials, including MDF, acrylic, foam board, Sintra, vinyl, fabric, metal framing, and LED integration.
- Awareness of printing techniques (digital, offset, screen, UV, large-format).
- Familiarity with structural, lighting, and electrical considerations for booths and activations.
- Print-ready and fabrication-ready file preparation.
Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in 3D design for retail, FMCG, and event activation.
- Demonstrated portfolio with regional or international brands.
- Exposure to MENA market projects is a plus but not required. Familiarity with international retail formats (hypermarket, pharmacy, mall activations) is essential.
- Comfortable working within tight timelines and on multiple projects in parallel.

- Strong communication and the ability to present and defend design choices clearly.
- Self-managed and reliable on deadlines.
- Open to feedback and able to iterate efficiently.
- Practical mindset with a focus on what can actually be built and shipped.
Engagement Terms
- Project-based engagement with scope, timeline, and fee agreed per brief.
- Per-project rate options depending on the deliverable.
- Fully remote. Working hours should overlap with Abu Dhabi time (GMT+4) for at least 3 to 4 hours per working day, typically afternoon Manila time.
- Communication primarily via email, WhatsApp, and video calls (Microsoft Teams).
- Availability for client revisions within the agreed project timeline is expected.
