Qualifications:
- Graduate of any allied health program; Certified 2D Echo Technologist
- Preferably with at least 6 months experience
Job Description:
- Prepares patient for 2D Echo by explaining heart ultrasound procedure and provides ambulatory assistance
- Obtains and records patient identification and medical history
- Produces high quality imaging by accurately positioning transducers and monitoring display
- Measures heart wall thickness and chamber sizes to standard norms
- Produces official results of tests conducted
