About the Program:
The Advanced Software Developer Residency is a full-time, two-year, paid immersion program designed for experienced Filipino developers. This is not a training course; it's a real-world development residency. You will work directly on complex systems alongside Senior Developers, tackling advanced technologies such as WebAssembly, AI-driven features, and large-scale backend architecture. The program is structured to provide deep technical mentorship and hands-on experience to elevate your career to an exceptional level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers on real-world, high-scale codebases and systems.
- Develop and deepen expertise in backend performance, distributed systems, and modern tech stacks.
- Actively participate in architecture discussions, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
- Work on cutting-edge areas which may include WebAssembly and AI/ML integration pipelines.
- Engage in continuous learning through structured one-on-one mentorship.
Basic Qualifications:
- 37 years of professional or substantial freelance software development experience.
- Strong expertise inJavaScript/TypeScriptand modern frameworks such asReactandNode.js.
- Solid understanding of backend frameworks, API design, and database management.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Ability to commit to a full-time remote schedule aligned with EST business hours (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST).
- Must be based in the Philippines with a reliable internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience or strong interest in AI/ML models, WebAssembly, or similar advanced technologies.
- Leadership or mentorship experience.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing complex projects and contributions.
