Job Description

We are seeking a part‑time Logistics Support Officer to manage support tickets, track freight movements, and coordinate with Australian customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders. The role involves resolving delivery issues, escalating urgent matters, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring clear and professional communication. Candidates should have prior experience in customer service, administration, logistics, or transport operations, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage logistics support tickets within the company's ticketing system.
  • Update ticket statuses, notes, and resolutions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Track freight movements and investigate delivery or collection issues.
  • Liaise with Australian customers, carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment updates.
  • Escalate urgent operational issues to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and operational activities.
  • Ensure all communications are professional, clear, and customer‑focused.
  • Assist with general administrative and operational tasks as required.

Essential

RequirementsSkills and Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics, or transport operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Competent computer skills and experience using ticketing systems, CRM platforms, or similar software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable

  • Prior exposure to Australian accounts or logistics operations.
  • Experience handling escalated customer enquiries or complex service requests.
  • Familiarity with freight tracking or workflow management platforms.
