A multinational engineering firm in Ortigas is seeking for a 12D Designer (Roads) as part of its expansion locally

Work conditions: Monday to Friday; Flexible working hours (6:00 AM up to 9:00 AM)

Purpose
Coordinate the preparation of, or develop, engineering plans, specifications, estimates for complex public works projects, required advertising for bids, reviews construction bids and make necessary recommendations based on lowest and best bids, competency of vendors and consultants, and the selection criteria.
Duties:
- Comply with all roles specific SHEQ obligations.
- Provide key technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
- Apply safety in design practices and processes at a high level.
- Project Lead large sized multidiscipline projects.
- Lead winning proposals and pursuits.
- Apply legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
- Communicate complex technical issues to clients.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or Equivalent.
- 10-12 years experience for roads or drainage or highway design
- Proficient with 12D software
- Basic use of BIM software and how to use and review models.
- Awareness of BIM inter-disciplinary coordination.
- Demonstrated knowledge of systems, procedures and practices.
- Proven ability to prepare technical reports and review large project reports.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
- Experienced in winning job from a job.
- Delivered best client outcomes/options which have saved the client costs/time.
- Experience in identifying and managing risk on substantial projects.
- Experienced in developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Proven ability in building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organization.
