Your Role

As an AU Accountant, you are responsible for:

Review inventory plan and identify stock replenishment demand
Manage the complete purchasing order process from the creation of PO to order confirmation
Doing costings analysis/price comparisons between vendors to ensure the best options are selected for purchasing decision
Maintain vendors relationships
Manage the purchasing orders data and ensure consistent results with vendors data
Monitor logistics arrangements and communicate the company's needs with the logistics provider or vendor when needed
Assist with invoice loading process if needed
Ensure inventory costing input by Purchasing Assistant is accurate
Manage claims and disputes with vendors
Communicate with Inventory management system provider as required
Communicate with Prod Development for any issues found related to product or demand
Assist with any stock receiving process if assistance is required by the warehouse
Provide any reports required by management as part of the purchasing process

Qualifications:

Functional understanding of vehicle (make/model/series) and part types (location/function on vehicle).
Enough to have a reasonable conversation (answer and ask basic questions) if required.
Confidence of interaction (speaking English on the phone, about vehicle parts)
Excellent research skills
Extremely high accuracy and strong attention to detail (data, research, analysis, etc)
Strong time management
Strong computer skills, especially excel, email programs, and database type programs
