Required Qualifications

✅ 7-10+ years of public accounting experience

✅ Minimum 3 years of tax return review experience

✅ Experience supervising and mentoring tax staff

✅ Experience managing client relationships

✅ Strong background in complex individual and business tax returns

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of:

Individual Taxation (Form 1040, Schedule C/E/F, Section 199A, capital gains, stock compensation, retirement distributions, passive activity rules)
Partnership Taxation (basis, capital accounts, allocations, distributions)
S-Corporations (shareholder basis, AAA, reasonable compensation)
C-Corporations (book-to-tax adjustments, dividends, estimated payments)
Multi-state taxation, nexus, and apportionment
Depreciation, Section 179, bonus depreciation
Tax research and IRS regulations
