Position Overview

The Content Strategist owns the end-to-end content strategy, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality, ad-ready content that supports business growth. Working closely with the Senior Account Strategist and Director, you'll translate business goals into scalable creator and content plans while partnering cross-functionally to drive content performance across organic and paid channels.

Key Responsibilities

Content Demand Planning

Translate campaign goals, GMV targets, budgets, and advertising needs into a scalable content strategy and production plan.
Forecast content demand by determining the volume of creators and content needed across paid, affiliate, community, and sample programs.
Build and manage a content pipeline that ensures a consistent flow of high-quality, ads-ready content to support growth goals.
Monitor content delivery across all creator channels, proactively identifying and addressing gaps before they impact campaign performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align content production with business objectives, media spend, and campaign timelines.

Creator Brief and Content Direction

Develop and optimize creator briefs that clearly communicate campaign goals, product messaging, and content expectations.
Translate product features, promotions, and audience insights into creator-friendly, brand-safe, and performance-driven content guidelines.
Define creative direction, including content angles, storytelling, hooks, calls-to-action, product demonstrations, and visual requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve briefs based on campaign performance, creator feedback, and business objectives.
Ensure creators have the guidance needed to produce high-performing content optimized for organic reach, affiliate conversions, and paid advertising.

Content Production Management

Oversee content production across paid, affiliate, community, and sample creator programs to ensure campaigns stay on track.
Coordinate content execution by assigning priorities and partnering with creator program managers to meet campaign deadlines.
Monitor content volume, quality, and delivery timelines, proactively identifying risks that could impact campaign performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve content delays, improve creative quality, and ensure deliverables meet campaign objectives.
Maintain and manage content tracking systems to provide visibility into creator progress, approvals, delivery status, and ads readiness.

Ads-Boost-Ready Content Pipeline

Partner with the Media Buyer to develop content strategies that support paid advertising performance and campaign scaling.
Identify and prioritize high-performing, ads-ready content based on creative quality, engagement potential, and conversion opportunities.
Ensure a consistent pipeline of approved content is available to support ongoing testing, optimization, and media spend.
Analyze advertising performance insights and apply learnings to improve future creator briefs, content strategy, and campaign execution.
Monitor content availability and proactively address gaps that could impact campaign performance, budget utilization, or ROAS.

Incentive Strategy and Campaign Activation

Develop and implement creator incentive programs that increase content production, engagement, and campaign participation.
Partner with Community and Affiliate teams to align creator communications, sample opportunities, and affiliate initiatives with campaign goals.
Support campaign launches by preparing creator briefs, content guidelines, incentive messaging, and promotional communications.
Ensure incentive programs align with business objectives, product priorities, and budget requirements.
Track and evaluate the effectiveness of incentive programs, using performance insights to optimize future creator engagement strategies.

Weekly Newsletter and Creator Communication Strategy

Own the content strategy for weekly creator newsletters and communications that drive engagement and campaign participation.
Develop clear, compelling messaging around product launches, promotions, incentives, sample opportunities, and content campaigns.
Partner with the Community Manager to create and distribute creator communications across newsletters and community channels.
Leverage creator communities to share updates, gather feedback, and promote new opportunities that increase participation.
Continuously optimize creator communications to drive action, improve engagement, and support overall campaign goals.

Performance Review and Content Optimization

Analyze content performance across creators, campaigns, products, and content formats to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Evaluate engagement, conversion, and advertising performance to determine which content strategies drive the strongest results.
Share actionable performance insights with cross-functional teams to optimize creator strategy, campaign execution, and paid media efforts.
Continuously refine content planning using metrics such as delivery, approval, and ads adoption rates, along with top-performing creative patterns.
Prepare and present regular content performance reports, highlighting key insights, recommendations, and content pipeline gaps to leadership.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in content strategy, creator marketing, influencer marketing, social commerce, affiliate marketing, or e-commerce content.
Strong understanding of creator content, including storytelling, hooks, product demonstrations, and performance-driven creative.
Proven ability to translate business objectives into scalable content strategies, creator briefs, and campaign plans.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple content initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret content performance data, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize future campaigns.
