Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field with a major in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of solid Australian taxation experience is required
Solid Australian taxation experience across diverse client portfolios, including individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
Strong Australian taxation knowledge covering Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Division 7A, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), budgeting, and fee preparation
Experience managing Australian taxation and compliance requirements across a diverse client portfolio
CPA qualification or an equivalent professional accounting certification is preferred
Experience using Xero and other cloud-based accounting software is highly desirable
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple client engagements independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Open to a hybrid work arrangement with office options in Ortigas or Pasay

Responsibilities

Review Australian income tax and FBT returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
Apply Australian tax compliance requirements across assigned engagements
Assist with tax planning strategies that support clients financial and compliance objectives
Prepare financial statements in line with current accounting, statutory, and reporting requirements
Complete and review engagement workpapers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and proper supporting documentation
Investigate technical accounting matters and contribute to resolving complex client issues
Evaluate management accounts and translate financial data into practical business insights
Coach and support graduate and intermediate accountants through technical guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing
Monitor lodgement schedules and ensure all tax and reporting obligations are completed accurately and on time
